COMMERCIAL INVESTMENT REAL ESTATE 2 July | August 2017 Brand Recognition C onstantly promoting and strengthening the CCIM brand nationally and globally gives members dynamic opportunities to fi nd new clients and close more deals. Throughout 2017, a new branding campaign focusing on the power of the pin has launched on CCIM.com, in marketing materials and publications, on the exhibit circuit, and via online videos. As part of this change, the CCIM website now showcases professional photography of its actual mem- bers. Using extensive video footage of CCIM and industry leaders captured at the Midyear Governance Meetings, April 1–5, the Institute is creating multiple videos to enhance brand awareness for YouTube and other online venues. Globally, CCIM Institute promoted its dis- tinctive identity at ICSC RECon in Las Vegas, May 22–24. CCIM designees booked more than 288 tables to meet with their clients at the Institute's 2,400-square-foot exhibit booth. As part of our strategic global initiatives, strengthening the CCIM brand reinvigorates business opportunities for members beyond U.S. borders. Both established and emerging interna- tional markets recognize CCIM training has become the global language for commercial real estate. A rigorous European market exists for enhanced commercial real estate education to supplement what the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is delivering. Finally, I urge you to join us Oct. 15–16 for this year's CCIM Global Conference 2017 in Toronto at the Westin Harbour Castle Toronto. The conference will feature keynote speaker Donald Trump Jr. addressing international real estate opportuni- ties, along with interactive sessions designed to assist members in staying ahead in the industry. Expected to draw more than 500 participants, those attending can cultivate even more connections and referral opportunities.
