CCIM's new exhibit booth at ICSC RECon in Las Vegas, May 17–20, enhances meeting opportunities for members and showcases the CCIM brand. More than 34,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors are participating in this global conference for the shopping center industry. From 2013 to 2014, CCIM doubled the number of booth visitors and we expect to continue building that momentum this year. CCIM members may reserve meeting tables in 30-minute incre- ments at tables.ccim.com. Additionally, the Institute is sponsoring a cocktail reception in the booth for members and their guests on May 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. Other perks include demonstrations of STDB's new Esri ArcGIS and BAO Web platforms, which provide members with customized site evaluation and market analysis. Across the Atlantic Ocean, CCIM leaders met with multiple global industry participants at MIPIM, March 10–13, in Cannes, France. T e emphasis was on com- municating CCIM members' unparalleled knowledge and ability to analyze opportunities in commercial real estate. For the f rst time since 2006, CCIM exhib- ited in the prominent space reserved for the National Association of Realtors, gaining access to 21,000 participants from 93 countries. T e strong CCIM presence reinvigorates business opportunities for CCIM members beyond U.S. borders. Closer to home, CCIM is continuing its participation in the RealShare conferences that take place in numerous U.S. markets. T ese conferences are a great opportunity for local CCIM chapter members to build new business connections and promote the CCIM brand. Go to Globest.com/events to see which conferences are in a market near you. Last but not least, I encourage you to join the Institute Oct. 27–28 for our annual conference, CCIM T rive 2015, at the Hyatt Regency Austin in Austin, Texas.
